Back in 2019 I spent several weeks in La Palma island (Spain). I was doing the Starlight course with Fundación Starlight. Every single night, when the classes finished, I escaped to the most amazing dark skies of this dream location.
One night, I drove to Salinas de Fuencaliente. The night was a bit cloudy, but finally the sky cleared and I was able to capture an image of the Milky Way while observing it from the same location. Jupiter was just in front of the Galactic Center of our Milky Way. The scene was just amazing.
Thanks for your time on this website.
