C/2020 F3 NEOWISE comet captured this same morning of the Tuesday 7th of July 2020 at 3am UT from the Prades Mountains, 1.000 meters above sea level, in the north east of Spain, close from Tarragona city. The image shows the village of Vilanova de Prades, the Prades Mountains and the comet. The image was captured 8km away from this area, at the Montsant mountains, 1.000m above sea level, a beautiful and dark place that we usually visit to stargaze.
I have not seen anything similar since the two big comets of 1995 and 1997. It’s a privilege to be able to observe this comet right now. Splendid at naked eye. A wonderful surprise from the outer Solar System after several months of difficulties at planet Earth.
