In the early morning of today, 27th of September 2024, the same day that the Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) crosses the perihelion, I managed to capture my very first image of it above the mountains surrounding my home village, Prades (41ºN).

The sky was very cloudy, the wind made things a bit more difficult, but finally I spotted a clear horizon in the middle of the clouds (shaped by the wind) to capture an image of the Comet just before the sunrise.

It seems that the comet is surviving the perihelion pass today. It’s expected to become a naked eye object very soon.

Thanks for your time on this website.
