This year 2024 I’ve had the honour to guide a fantastic group to Namibia. Organized by Parc Astronòmic Muntanyes de Prades, we head towards Tivoli Astrofarm, a great professional-amateur observatory where we spent 10 winter nights the first 10 days of July 2024.
During the trip we had a visit to the Kalahari red dunes, in a perfect location quite close to Tivoli Astrofarm. We stared at the magic sunset, we had some drinks and snacks, and we were able to capture several Milky Way images.
I present you two of them in separate posts. The first one is this 200º panorama captured just after the sunset when the night was dark enough to see the Milky Way.
