The M106 galaxy is an intermediate spiral galaxy that can be found in the Canes Venatici constellation. It has a very active black hole in its center that emits powerful radiation.

In this image of M106 we can find other galaxies. In a wider field there are hundreds of them, such as NGC4217, an edge-on galaxy.
